Standards & Certification:
The complete Chain sling is assembled in accordance with EN 818-4 using components conforming to DIN EN 1677-4. The Grade 80 Lifting Chain is manufactured to EN 818-2.
Each chain sling assembly is:
- Assembled in our own workshop in-store by a qualified, competent person.
- Assembled using high quality, traceable lifting components (all certificates available on request) with certificates to conform to 2006/42/EC.
- CE marked and all necessary markings to comply with above standards.
- Inspected prior to dispatch
- Tagged with a unique ID serial number on the correct type of steel tag for this chain.
- Issued with a 6 month GA1 certificate signed and dated at time of assembly
The GA1 certificate references the ID tag on the chain sling and confirms the rated capacity and standards applied.
Assembly & Supply:
We hold substantial stock of Lifting chain, master links, hooks and shortening/grab hooks in our Lifting Equipment shop in Tuam Co. Galway.
Because of this your Chain slings are assembled in-store using stocked components and certified before leaving the premises.
Most orders are assembled and dispatched the same day (if placed before 2pm).
Where order volume is high or a pallet collection is required, dispatch is the next working day. But don't worry we will always contact you if there are any issues/questions from our side.
